Francine is very talented with a powerful voice. Her first CD is very good with a lot of different styles, all of which were very enjoyable to listen to.

While I would classify the CD (What Goes Around Comes Around) as adult contemporary, it doesn't have a set pattern. Rather, Francine tackles a number of different sounds, genres and styles. The first track, which is also the title track, is immediately catchy. It starts out slow, with Francine's voice blending nicely with piano and some solid guitar work in the back. But it speeds up fast, especially during the chorus. The second song, Anything Worth Having, reminds me of those old jazz clubs. Francine is singing to a saxophone, piano and slow drumbeat, which all blends together nicely. Francine and the saxophone making a good duet. When I heard the third song, What Odds is fast with a lot of energy and background vocals...Right Side, the fourth song on the CD, is another jazz club-type track. This is the type of stuff that seems to work best for her. Who's Lovin' You, the classic Smokey Robinson song, gets treatment from Francine. The singer does a good job with it, capturing the energy that made it a hit from Smokey. It's another slow song, which Francine does well. The next song, Dance, starts out dancey and has a catchy beat...it's something you kind of bob your head and tap your feet to. Surprisingly, I found that it works on this CD. Can't Stand the Rain is a faster song that is pretty good. Whoever is playing that guitar (in the song) is good, as can be heard during his solo about halfway through the song. And with that, I finished listening to What Goes Around Comes Around. Especially on the slower songs, Francine excels and does an excellent job. I could definitely put it on, sit and read a book or have dinner.
