Francine has several different projects and works with different people to make each of them a success. Here's info about the projects and the Friends involved.
Francine & Friends, Francine's Power House R & B Band has been together since 1995 and have played key events such as The Festival of Spring (formerly known as the Ottawa Tulip Festival), The Franco-Ontarien Festival, The Ottawa Blues Festival, The Ottawa Jazz Festival, The Ottawa Rhythm and Blues Festival, The Ottawa Festival of Children and venues such as the Museum of Civilization, and, the Congress Centre and The Rainbow Bistro.
The Band has several key players that have filled the positions over the years that make up Francine & Friends.

Francine recently hooked up with Kenny Grafton of The Texas Wailers to form a new rockin' blues band, Francine & The Tearjerkers. The pair are currently writing and recording material for a new CD and have begun to line-up high profile shows. The Tearjerkers represent both a departure and a return for Francine, who while performing R & B the past few years is also firmly rooted in blues and rock. The focus of The Tearjerkers is quite different from that of Francine & Friends (an R & B Band), with the Tearjerkers performing a mixture of hard edge blues and blues/rock covers in addition to original compositions in a similar style. The Texas Blues influence of The Texas Wailers is apparent in The Tearjerkers sound. The Tearjerkers are performing at local venues including The Rainbow Bistro.

Long-time friend and Live Muisc supporter, Alexis owns and operates Grafix Screen Print which produces many of Francine's posters, photographic media and promotional items. Alexis can always be found at the shows with her camera ready and has shot the majority of the photos that appear on the site.

C.A.K.E. quite simply stands for Christine, Alexis, Kathy and Elaine, who bake The Best Home-made Cookies! The girls bake, package and creatively label individual baggies of their cookies to give out as gifts to the band members and other fortunate friends!
