'The guys and I look forward to entertaining these people of all ages. Many do not eat on a daily basis. We completely endorse and appreciate the work done by the folks at Dinners Unlimited. Giving our time is such a simple thing for us to do and yet, the audience is as appreciative as if we had given them all the money in the world. It truly makes us realize how fortunate we really are. Some of these people slept under a bridge in minus 28 Degree weather last night while we were snuggled in our blankets and heated homes. Sure makes you think...'.
Francine has raised 3 sons and CHEO has been a life saver for her family on several occasions. When asked to participate in a few CHEO telethons, she was grateful for the opportunity to do something so someone else's family could benefit from the multitude of services this Hospital offers to so many kids.
She has appeared on various television shows including the A-Channel and CTV news numerous times while promoting her new CD, upcoming shows and of course, for the United Way and Dinners Unlimited. |
